I need the help of the Internet! My room is upstair telephone line is connected to the line downstair telephone. My internet is slow when filter connected to the telephone line, so when I'm researching I disconnect and reconnect the modem directly with the filter, which can be faster. I do not want to continue doing so because it causes static when people use the phone. "I can get a phone line in my own room, having to build a new box line. if so any idea how much it costs? and then I get to connect 2 computers?
If you have a DSL filter is assumed that all telephone lines except the one with the modem and computer on it. Sounds like someone is connected wrong
