ATT DSL problem?
I recently upgraded my ATT DSL 1.5 to 3.0 and now I continue to unwind. The flashes DSL and Internet activity and are off work. The only thing green is the power and Ethernet. The only time you can use the Internet is if someone at home is to use the phone. Otherwise, I can not connect. After several reboots many of my PC Modem router and then to talk and chat with more than 10 members of the support team ATT. I'm tired of trying things that suggest SAMES more and more. I would also like to note that DSL has always worked for 2 years without any problems until the update. All filters are in place and all diagnoses were positive. However, you can not use the Internet unless im using the phone.
I had a similar problem with my Verizon DSL last year, when improved speed. My connection would come to a crawl and then I'm off. I spent many hours on the phone with support staff. They refused to admit he had a problem on their end. Each technician wanted me to "restart" the computer, empty my files time and power-cycle the router. As a computer professional, I find it very fustrating. If you can remove all wireless routers or other devices on your network home, then it is likely to do their part. It was not until I am very irrational and asked to speak to a supervisor who has the ball rolling. The next day, a technician approached and discovered the problem in five minutes. It turns out that the problem was a circuit in another city. They recreated perfectly and has ever since. I called Verizon to complain about five hours of hell, pass me and gave me a $ 25 credit on my next bill. Good luck and I recommend you get a little angry with them to resolve.
