parental control on computers
my parents put parental control on my computer what the hell does that do?
My mom just informed me of the parental control they have put on my computer, is that neccesary to do for a 17 year old. What can they look at, can they read this question? Can they read my questions on AIM? and finally if i just want to show them up, will a proxy block any viewing access they have of my computer?

i dont think any sites are blocked, i think my mom siad she can see what i do though
I don’t think they will be able to see anything you do.
I think all it does is allow them to see what sites you visit on the internet, and it blocks many websites too.
