parental control software windows xp
Windows XP user accounts?
I have a First Officer, and one for each family member. Admin for adults and two limited access children. I had BT broadband and all accounts worked well, but I just installed the center, and although it works well from the master account, you can not get any of other accounts to access the Internet. I follow the instructions, BTYahoo signature, do the same for parental control, but I can not get a connection from an account user. The primary account works without any problems. Does anyone have any idea how to avoid this? I also noticed that there seems no consistency between accounts user to install the software. Always install the software on the main user account. Sometimes this software is available in other user accounts, sometimes not, there seems to be no rule on what is available to other users and what not. Any ideas on how to handle this?
You are correct that some software installed for "all" and only one name. MS is famous for the "Account" and you want to purchase additional copies for each of the other users. (His license is "a user on a PC" if you can legally do that). Recommends that tries to install for each account. This means you have to change account your child for account management long enough to install, then change again limited to. But this should solve the problem.
